Mad

Yesterday I became mad. I had gone for a massage therapy appointment the night before (Tuesday) and had awoken on Wednesday very sore. Actually, the soreness started well before then. I hadn't slept well because I couldn't get comfortable in any position. Lying on my side hurt, lying on my back hurt, my neck hurt me, my tailbone hurt me... it was awful. I woke up Yesterday morning just as sore, if not more so. I couldn't move my neck or turn my body. I felt like I'd been run over by a truck. And I was incredibly cranky all day. I actually left work at 3PM because I was so cranky I was really not doing my job. And there is no point in being at work, not working, so I figure at least.

And so I became mad. I am angry at the person who rear ended me. I know it was an accident and everything, but he has put me in constant pain. At a time in my life when I'm supposed to be happy and 'glowing' and all that, I have to deal with this constant pain in my back & neck. I have to deal with ICBC (the only insurance carrier in BC). And it's not going to get any better either. I mean, I was expecting a certain amount of back pain associated with pregnancy, but not really until the 2nd half of it!! I can't take any drugs to make me feel better. And so I am really very angry with this guy. I don't know if he knows that I am pregnant and what he did to me. But I do expect a financial settlement. At first I was just happy to have my repairs & medical treatments covered. Now I want to be financially compensated. I want him to know about the work days I've missed (and I'm usually a very good worker) because of headaches or pain, the worry over the effect this has had on babies, and the constant pain that I've been in. I can't take anything to make me feel better and he needs to know this.

I'm not as cranky today as I was yesterday. Which is good. I had another claim with ICBC that was minor. Yesterday I decided to abandon it. My husband wasn't happy with that decision. "They've won." But I decided that, for a $100, it was not worth my time & stress over it. I will however write a very strongly worded letter to Canadian Tire and advise EVERYONE not to shop there. And I've been a pretty loyal CT customer for most of my life. No More. This is a topic for another blog though.

I'm at work and I've done 50% of the essential things to get done today. There are only 2 essentials to do today. And a whole Lot of little "should do" things! I better get to it.

Have a lovely day everyone!
