LOBSTER!

After spending the day out in the sun having a garage sale at Kristie's place, this is what I look like:

Yes - I am bright red. I did put sunscreen on but obviously missed a lot of places! You can totally see which places I missed and which got the screen because I'm a lovely red & white colour. (patriotic for me as a CANADIAN.)

It's mostly my face that is bad. The rest of my burned places don't hurt that bad, but my face HURTS. We went to London Drugs and I wanted to get solarcaine, but I can't use that because it has Lidocaine in it which is apparently bad for babies. So I have to settle for aloe vera gel. Which is good, but not the same as lidocaine!!! :)

Anyway - word to the wise - SUNSCREEN!!!!! Use it.

New Baby Pictures!

Here's some cool pictures of babies. I had a 3-D scan done. Baby A wasn't really cooperating so I didn't bother scanning that picture for this. But Baby B definitely was! They are lying opposite ways so you'll see there are Baby A's legs in the background (and foreground!!!) of the scans.



This is Baby B who is currently lying breech.
Baby A's legg is in the background. Don't worry about the skull - it IS intact, it's just the way the probe was sitting that it gets cut off from the picture.









This is Baby B again, but as you can see, Baby A is now kicking Baby B in the head! Probably a sign of things to come. It's funny now but I think that in about 5 years it won't be too funny if they are wrestling on the living room floor!




Anyway, these are today's baby picture scans! I think they have my brother's jaw profile which I have to admit that I'm hoping they will grow out of! To me - it says "orthodontic work" and I'd prefer not to have that expense personally - not to mention pain to the kids.
